Grutas del Rosario

En las inmediaciones de la sierra del mismo nombre, aproximadamente a 20 km., de Mapimí, se pueden apreciar extraordinarias formaciones geológicas hechas a través del tiempo, que con la disolución y acumulación de sales, crearon figuras caprichosas denominadas. “Chimeneas”, “Los Novios”, “Castillos”, “Tronos”, “Monstruos”, y otras que poseen sonoridad notable como es: Arpa, Piano y Cuerdas y Metales.

Por la desviación al poblado a Vicente Suárez que está a doce km. y ocho más del camino para llegar a pie, se puede arribar a la Sierra del Rosario donde se encuentran las Grutas cuya belleza pétrea, tiene admirables formaciones de estalactitas y estalagmitas y un lago que es por sus profundidades increíble.

El recorrido total al interior de las Grutas es de 500 metros en cuatro niveles con una altura promedio de 6 metros por nivel. Incomparable paisaje ofrece este lugar ribereño de Lerdo.

By the deviation to the town to Vicente Suárez that is to twelve km and eight more of the way to arrive on foot, it is possible to arrived at the Mountain range of the Rosary where are the Grottos whose stony beauty, has admirable stalactite formation and stalagmites and a lake that is by its depths incredible.
The total route to the interior of Grottos is of 500 meters in four levels with a height average of 6 meters by level.
